RESTAURANT MANAGER / CHEF
We are looking for a positive, energetic, honest, punctual and hardworking, experienced and qualified Chef / Restaurant Manager, required for a beautiful 4 Star Lodge and function venue near Malelane (Mpumalanga Province)
Minimum of 5 to 8 years’ experience in an Executive Chef position in a formal Hotel / 4 to 5 Star Lodge.
With excellent record of kitchen management and ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
Also experience in preparing Portuguese food;
Communication and leadership skills;
Customer service focus;
Well-spoken and well-presented individual;
Strong personality that can think on their feet and work under pressure;
Excellent leadership and management skills and must be highly organised;
Experience in coordinating functions;
Must be able to create, cost and maintain recipes;
Maintain high standards of food, service, health and safety, ensure the efficient and profitable business performance of the restaurant.
Ensure alcohol regulations are
Plan and co-ordinate menus;
Working knowledge of MS Word, restaurant management software.
